JN Bentley have been in partnership with Algorithms Software since 2015 and has extensively deployed Xpedeon, our core ERP and Digital Transformation solution across the business.

Since 2014, the company has grown on average of 30% turnover per annum, with substantial growth Xpedeon has been instrumental in providing a scalable platform to manage the additional requirements on business processes.

COVID19 | Working from Home | Teamwork & Collabration

March 2020 saw the beginning of Covid-19 crisis impacting the world, JN Bentley and Algorithms Software joined forces to expedite the applications for JN Bentley’s staff to Working from Home helping to provide a “Business as Usual” in an everchanging UK economy.

Our objective was to help, collaborate and create a seamless transition into the “new normal” as quickly and as efficiently as possible, enabling JN Bentley to focus on its core business practices.

March – June 2020

Thanks to the Xpedeon ERP and Digital Transformation platform, JN Bentley has adjusted to the Covid-19 crisis and UK lockdown seamlessly.

Nearly 900 staff, mainly office-based, have moved indefinitely to working from home including the finance, procurement, plant, accounts payable, and payroll teams.

Xpedeon has been instrumental in these staff continuing their “business as usual” i.e. keeping orders flowing and staff and suppliers paid in these very challenging times.

The additional capacity constraints on the network due to increased external access to Xpedeon were manageable and did not create any knock-on effect for the c.200 site-based users from this change.

With the Xpedeon Development and Support teams themselves having transitioned to 100% Working From Home very effectively, development activities continued apace with a smooth major release upgrade for the long-awaited HR and payroll functionality for 1,600 employees along with further development of Formbuilder to support health and safety considerations in relation to the 140 sites that stayed open throughout this period.

Another classic example of Teamwork and continuous delivery, COVID notwithstanding.”
