Infinity Is Back- The Highlights are Worth Noting!

Xpedeon is proud to have hosted our annual event, ‘Infinity 2022’ on Feb 17, 2022, dedicated to hundreds of our clients from across the globe. Here’s the Breakdown!

Under the challenging world circumstances in 2020, it was terrific to virtually reconnect and network with those in the construction and engineering industry. Stretching across the UK, The Middle East, and South Asia.

This year, we shared how we plan to keep our clientele at the top of their game and at the forefront of the market using OnXpedeon Cloud and our new software updates. We have been working hard behind the scenes creating over 200+ enhancements to our system, including in-built analytics, data visualisation, and analytical reporting. Also, advanced reconciliation, eliminating the cycle of stress with period closure, e-invoicing, 3-way matching, etc.

With more and more businesses moving to the cloud, we sat down to discuss the importance of OnXpedeon at Infinity.

OnXpedeon is our cloud-based SaaS platform that provides any construction org, a business management solution available anytime and anywhere. You can simply log in and manage your business securely through supported encrypted browsers. In a sit-down interview with Khaled A. Hamid – The founding Partner at Plc Contracting, we heard first-hand about the limitless benefits. Khaled is a recognised figure in the marine industry, and he shared how his wish from the onset of the business was to have a successful ERP in place. Not just any ERP, but a system that would tailor to the construction industry and their specific type of work. “We surveyed all over the market and decided on Xpedeon,” Khaled says.

After researching, comparing, and trialing many solutions, he mentions how Xpedeon’s cloud solution enables them to access the platform without hassle, for example, via his phone. After selecting other business management vendors in the past, it is only now they can confidently say that PLC Contracting has an ERP.

Additionally, Dawn Hillman, Finance Director at TriConnex, backed by thirty + years of experience in the industry, shares how Xpedeon’s cloud platform has been impactful to the success of their business through the years. Dawn was aware that TriConnex had data spread throughout the company, on various sources, and far too many spreadsheets. They were looking for one single data source that would not be questioned. OnXpedeon has been able to provide this and remains embedded in day-to-day functionalities, vital to TriConnex’s success.

One of our main focuses for Infinity was highlighting some of the new features launching in 2022 that will be pivotal improvements to our users. Including our CRM designed primarily for general contractors, tax legislation, and progress reporting (to name a few).

2022 New Features:

Progress reporting -we have created a paradigm shift in how project teams can communicate between boardrooms, offices, and sites.
Introduction of CRM for contractors- providing a 360-degree view of tender and bid management process, centralised and integrated process and transparency.

Director at Mott MacDonald Bentley, David Bentley, spoke about how he has been utilising new features. He explained how all business processes resulting in financial transactions are handled from start to finish in Xpedeon. Providing immense satisfaction between unifying information between their commercial and finance teams.

Tax Legislation is an essential trending topic in the market currently, with every organisation conscious about corporate compliance. Governments worldwide are continuously reviewing, changing, and digitalising taxation systems. This presents challenges to companies within construction. Xpedeon explained their support to the ever-changing international tax legislation across countries at this annual event. The platform allows ease to comply with changes in a timely and structured manner. This is because our global tax engine is highly flexible and enables rapid response to match updates in legislation.

Rajiv S N, ERP Project Manager at Towell Engineering Group, shared their experience rolling out VAT across all businesses within the group using Xpedeon. They demonstrated the platform’s readiness for VAT even before the rollout of the new law in Oman. With Xpedeon’s experience, the actioning was structured and smooth.
